Chere Krakovsky is a New York-based visual and performance artist on a journey to weave together a sense of home and community in the world.
Project Overview
A prolific, interdisciplinary artist, Chere came to me with the desire to let her website evolve from a templated portfolio site to a vibrant piece of art in and of itself . The existing homepage layout was a simple thumbnail grid of her portfolio pieces, which was getting the job done, but wasn’t quite capturing the magic of her work.
Using full-width photos, video backgrounds, and overlapping images and text, we transformed the homepage into an immersive, dynamic viewing experience that immediately draws the visitor into the world of Chere’s evocative art.
