Curious Minds is a Hamburg-based literary agency helping nonfiction authors share their knowledge with readers around the world.
Project Overview
One of the most successful nonfiction-focused literary agencies in the world, Curious Minds had outgrown their DIY website and was ready to create a professional online presence indicative of their authority and reputation in the book publishing industry. In addition to implementing their existing branding inspired by Victorian science illustrations, they needed a robust typographic system to effectively display the extensive database of authors and titles they represent. I set up styles for every type treatment and kept the layouts simple enough for the client team to be able to edit and replicate themselves – something I always keep in mind when designing for clients.
